Podcast script: Fire

Hello and welcome to episode 15 of grounded in stillness.

Fire, the final element for us to focus on to complete the set.

If we can use a spark to ignite what we are passionate about and drive us forward to achieve, anything is possible.

So enjoy this relaxation and focus on how to set the fire within.

Find yourself a comfortable position to relax in, sitting or laying the choice is yours.

***Music starts***

Adjust your shoulders, adjust your hips.

Softly close your eyes.

Slowly become aware of your breath.

Breathe in deeply.

Breathe out deeply.

Become aware of the heat within your body.

The temperature you currently feel.

The gentle warmth around your heart.

Allow the warmth of the body, to relax the muscles deeper.

Now imagine you are sat next to a campfire.

Gently relaxing into your chair, enjoying the gentle heat from the campfire.

Outside under the stars.

As you gaze at the stars you feel the fire gently warming your body.

Guiding you to let go and relax your body deeper.

Do you begin to notice the stillness of your body.

The warmth that moves throughout your body.

Slowly you bring your eye gaze from the stars to the fire.

You watch.

Observe.

How the flames gently dart with no pattern, freely moving however they wish.

The colours:

Reds, oranges, yellows, browns and blacks.

How they all connect.

You allow yourself to be absorbed by the colours of the fire.

Becoming more aware of the fire creating heat on your skin.

You notice little sparks fly into the air from the fire.

Then disappearing.

As you see one spark in particular, you feel your heart become warmer.

As if the spark ignited the fire within you.

As you breathe deeply you feel the warmth grow within your heart.

You feel the warmth begin to spread from your heart.

Radiating away from your heart to fill your entire body with heat and fire.

With the warmth, you begin to feel your body coming to life with:

Energy.

Passion.

Drive.

Commitment.

What could you use your inner fire to achieve.

What passions do you have?

What drives you?

What commitments do you want to make?

What fuels your fire?

All it takes is something small to create something else.

Anytime you feel a spark within your heart.

You are capable of achieving anything you wish.

All you need, is to set the fire within you.

Allow the fire to fill your body.

Your muscles.

Your bones.

Your core.

Enjoy the fire within your body.

Take one more deep breath in and out.

Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Slowly open your eyes.
