Hello and welcome to episode 12 of grounded in stillness.

Valentines day.

Lets be honest, you either enjoy this day or hate it, there is no real in between.

Todays relaxation focuses on love and kindness (keeping with the theme of today).

Be this love for yourself or love for others, it might even be love for your pet.

Lets see if we can find you a small escape from today, to just love and be kind.

Find yourself a comfortable position, be this sitting or laying the choice is yours.

Adjust your shoulders, adjust your hips.

Softly close your eyes.

Become aware of your breath.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Slowly place one of your hands over your heart.

As you breathe, bring your attention to your heart.

How you use your heart to hold feelings for loved ones.

Bring to mind someone you care for deeply.

How thinking of this person, makes you smile and creates a gentle warmth throughout your body.

Does the area around your heart begin to feel warmer?

Notice every feeling you have towards this person.

Love.

Kindness.

Breathe in and fill your body completely with love and kindness.

Breathe out and imagine you are sending that love and kindness to the person you are thinking of.

With each in breath, fill yourself completely with the warmth of love and kindness.

Breathe out and imagine you could give all that love and kindness to the person you are thinking of.

Do you begin to feel your body and mind change as you feel yourself giving love and kindness to someone you care about.

How does your heart begin to feel as you are focused on love and kindness.

Enjoy that feeling.

Enjoy how your heart feels when full of love and kindness.

Could you use the love and kindness within your heart today to share with others.

To bring more kindness into the world.

To love more.

Take one more nice deep breath in, fill yourself with love and kindness.

Breathe out and give your love to the person you are thinking of.

Take a moment to notice how you now feel.

Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.

Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Slowly open your eyes.
