Waiting

We often find ourselves waiting.

For buses, trains, friends to turn up for coffee.

However when was the last time you used those moments for yourself.

Instead of thinking ahead of the things you still have to do that day.

Or worrying if the train or bus will arrive on time.

What if you allowed yourself to be in that moment. To observe the sounds, the smells, the people around you.

Allowing yourself to live in the moment can connect you deeper to living your life instead of letting your life live through you.

Just maybe its possible to embrace those moment we have to wait. To stay calm, to go with the flow of the things we cannot control.

Because sometimes waiting can let you know when the moment is right for you to move, speak or make a decision.

“all things come to those who wait” – Violet Fane 1982
