Hello and welcome to part 2 of the mindful meditation series.
Today we are going to see if we can find the stillness within you.
So you can give yourself a moment to stop any time in your day you need.
Find a comfortable position to relax in, be this sitting or laying, the choice is yours.

Adjust your shoulders, adjust your hips.
Gently close your eyes.
Allow your jaw and eye lids to soften.
Slowly become aware of your breath.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Bring your attention to your breath and your breath only.
How the in breath fills your lungs completely, bringing new air into your body.
How the out breath allows you to relax the body and slow the mind.
Enjoy the in breath.
Enjoy the out breath.
How often do you get the opportunity to know how you breathe, how your body moves with the simpleness of the breath.
The gentleness, the kindness of your breath.
Just breathe.
Notice how effortless the breath is.
Unforced, unrushed.
How nice that feeling would be to have in day to day life.
To be unforced and unrushed with each task you do.
To take your time.
What if being mindful of your breath as you carry out tasks could give you the ability to be unrushed day to day.
To be able to enjoy how your in breath always follows the out breath, how the out breath always follows the in breath.
The never ending cycle of the breath.
As you breathe, do you begin to notice that moment at the end of the in breath, before the out breath, then how that moment appears again at the end of the out breath, before the in breath.
That small moment between each breath.
That moment, between each part of your breath, is a moment of pure stillness.
For that brief moment, everything stops.
Your breath.
Your body.
Your mind.
Allow yourself to be mindful of those moments.
Allow the moments between each breath to absorb you.
To truly feel the stillness within your body and mind.
Do you begin to notice how your body naturally makes the moment between each breath longer.
Without you even having to think, your mind and body are encouraging you to enjoy the stillness within you.
Allow yourself to be completely present at the end of the in breath, before the out breath and again at the end of the out breath, before the in breath.
Allow the inner stillness to take over.
For those few precious moments allow the stillness to ground you to this exact moment.
The calmness of the body and mind you now have.
Enjoy a few more breaths and the awareness you now have of inner stillness.
Take one more deep breathe in, enjoy the moment and then breath out and enjoy the moment of inner stillness one more time.
Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
When you are ready slowly open your eyes.
Thank you for listening
