Music credit: Aube – REMY BOURGEOIS

Hello and welcome to part 9 of 14 for this observation meditation series.

The hips, we all know we have them but how often do we observe them.

Lets see what we learn about our hips when we observe.

Find yourself a comfortable position, sitting or laying the choice is yours.

***Music starts***

Adjust your shoulders, adjust your hips.

Allow your body to feel heavy in place.

Become aware of your breath.

Breathe in deeply, breathe out deeply.

Take a moment to just breathe.

Slowly become aware of your hips.

How your hips rest in place.

Breathe and observe your hips.

Bring your attention to your right hip.

How the hip joint feels.

Does the hip feel tight or has your breath created space in the hip joint?

Observe your right hip.

Bring your attention to your left hip.

How the hip joint feels.

Does the hip feel tight or has your breath created space in the hip joint?

Observe your left hip.

Allow yourself to observe your hips as a whole.

When was the last time you focused on your hips alone.

The chance to observe what your body feels, to allow your mind to have one focus only for a few moments from your day.

Those few moments truely for yourself.

Enjoy the opportunity to observe your hips.

Take one more deep breath in, deep breath out.

Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.

Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Slowly open your eyes.

Thank you for listening.
